The New Aston Martin Limited-Edition Vanquish Zagato

indiGO Auto Group Rancho Mirage Aston Martin
Recently, Aston Martin unveiled the brand-new, limited-edition Vanquish Zagato, the result of a partnership between the car manufacturer and Italian automotive design powerhouse Zagato. Zagato was founded in 1919, and has developed the bodies of some of the most iconic cars in the industry—from Aston Martins and Lamborghinis to Maseratis and Bugattis. The design company specializes in limited-edition models intended for collectors. Aston Martin will produce only 99 Vanquish Zagatos at their facility in England. It is the fifth Aston-Martin to be created in conjunction with Zagato. Other cars developed through this collaboration include the DB4 GT Zagato released in 1960 (now valued at over $12 million dollars), the V8 Vantage Zagato in 1986, the DB7 Vantage Zagato in 2002, and the V12 Vantage Zagato in 2011. According to Aston Martin, “The Vanquish Zagato is a powerful addition to that portfolio: a GT car that blends Aston Martin's inherent refinement and capabilities with Zagato's characteristic design details, born out of racing and honed over many years of creating elegant luxury sports cars. Aston Martin's 6.0L V12 powertrain has been uprated to increase its output to 600PS1, capable of delivering a projected 0-60 mph time of 3.5 seconds. This added performance matched to a unique suspension setup will create a GT driving experience specific to the Vanquish Zagato model.” The Vanquish Zagato will be ready for delivery in the first quarter of 2017. Aston Martin's New Concept: The Lagonda

The world of Aston Martin is evolving with an all-new concept car. The Lagonda Vision Concept is planned to debut in 2021, and it will be the world’s first zero-emission luxury vehicle. The concept is both genius and intriguing.   “The Lagonda Vision Concept is an incredibly bold design statement. The electrification revolution means there is no longer any need for horse and carriage design, and our new concept shows the scope of design opportunities that open up once you no longer need to provide space for a large power source directly in front of the passenger compartment. In the Lagonda Vision Concept, the batteries occupy the floor of the car. Everything above that line belongs to us,” said Aston Martin EVP and Chief Creative Officer, Marek Reichman.   Bonus? The all-new concept utilizes powerful electric batteries, which will enable it to cover up to 400 miles between charges. Interested in learning more about the Lagonda Vision Concept coming in 2021? The DB11 Now Available With V8 Engine

Aston Martin has been hard at work upgrading the DB11. The DB11 is now offered with a 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine making the Aston Martin quicker than ever before. “As an engineer I find the DB11 a fascinating car. One with great depth of character and ability. Of course the V12-engined variant is an icon - an ultimate, if you like, but the V8 is very much its own car. One with a distinct and carefully crafted character that’s truly seductive. It has been hugely rewarding to put our stamp on this new engine - both in the way it sounds and performs - and to use its impressive attributes as the impetus to reveal a little more of the DB11’s sporting character,” commented Aston Martin’s Chief Technical Officer, Max Szwaj. The DB11 can take off from 0 to 60mph in just a matter of 3.8 seconds. The model is beyond impressive as it reaches a max speed of 187 mph effortlessly. The new engine is much lighter, allowing the DB11 to have an increased sense of agility. The engine is not the only thing that has changed within the model. There has been a subtle, unique change in the design. The alloy wheel finish, dark headlamp bezels and a pair of bennet vents have been featured on the upgraded DB11. The V8-powerred DB11 will be available in the US late this year. Interested in pre-ordering your very own DB11 Aston Martin?
