Drawing design inspiration from Aston Martin’s illustrious past, the Valour brings the power with a 705-hp twin-turbo V-12 engine paired with a six-speed manual transmission. Think: inspired styling and muscular V-12 performance. You can get from zero to 60 mph in about three seconds and reach a top speed of more than 200 mph. This supercar is the spectacular brainchild of a team led by Aston Martin’s director of design, Miles Nurnberger, the same designer who created CC100, which was also created to celebrate its 100th anniversary. While the CC100 is a smaller speedster, the Valour is a muscular coupe. The very special gearbox is controlled by a beautiful new wood and metal selector, which is seated within a carbon-fiber surround in the center of the cabin. The beautifully-crafted gear lever effortlessly combines with ultra-modern materials such as lightweight mokume carbon fiber, leather grab handles, and exposed billet aluminum. To embrace the heritage of the 1959 Le Mans challenger, the Aston Martin Valour also incorporates DBR1 tweed, infusing a touch of timeless elegance into the design of its interior. The Valour is likely the last Aston Martin product launched without a touchscreen interface – and instead, the center screen is controlled by a manual turn-and-click controller.
